We’re expanding our Rocketlane PSA Implementation Practice and are looking for an Implementation Consultant to help deliver results!

Role Overview

As an Implementation Consultant, you will lead hands-on delivery of Rocketlane PSA implementations for multiple customers across industries. You will own discovery, configuration, workflow design, integrations, testing, and go-live execution with a strong consultative voice.

You won’t just “take requirements.” You will guide customers toward best practices, challenge suboptimal processes, and help them modernize how they run Professional Services. You will translate real-world business problems into scalable Rocketlane solutions that drive measurable outcomes fast.

This is a high-ownership, customer-facing role designed for people who enjoy solving complex workflow challenges, working directly in systems, and using automation and AI to deliver faster, smarter implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own configuration and delivery workstreams across the full implementation lifecycle (discovery → design → build → test → go-live → adoption)

  • Lead requirements workshops and translate business workflows into Rocketlane configurations

  • Configure projects, templates, resource management, financials, automations, and reporting

  • Guide customers toward Rocketlane and Professional Services best practices, even when it requires pushing back or reframing requirements

  • Support integrations with CRM, finance, HR, and PSA ecosystems

  • Partner with Solution Architects on solution design and technical decisions

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to manage scope, timelines, and risks

  • Conduct system testing, UAT support, and issue resolution

  • Deliver admin and end-user training

  • Document configurations, decisions, and delivery standards

  • Use AI tools, automations, and reusable assets to improve speed and quality of delivery

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders throughout onboarding and adoption

Qualifications

Must Have Skills

Implementation Expertise

  • 3–5+ years in SaaS implementations, onboarding, or technical consulting

  • Experience configuring SaaS platforms or business systems

  • Strong discovery and requirements translation skills

  • Comfortable owning workstreams independently with minimal supervision

Technical & Systems Skills

  • Understanding of SaaS concepts (data models, permissions, workflows, automation)

  • Experience supporting integrations or working with APIs/webhooks

  • Comfortable using tools like Workato, Zapier, or similar automation platforms

  • Ability to troubleshoot configuration and data issues

Consultative & Communication Skills

  • Ability to advise customers on best practices (not just take orders)

  • Comfortable facilitating workshops and training sessions

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for business audiences

Problem Solving & Ownership

  • Builder mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Bias toward action and accountability

  • Thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments

  • Proactively identifies risks and solutions

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with PSA tools (Rocketlane, Certinia, Kantata, Precursive, etc.)

  • Salesforce, NetSuite, or HRIS integrations exposure

  • Data migration or reporting experience

  • Familiarity with Professional Services operations (resource management, billing, forecasting)

  • Experience in consulting or multi-client environments

  • Basic SQL or data validation skills

  • AI/automation experimentation mindset

Training & Certification Path (Required)

All Implementation Consultants complete:

  • Rocketlane Academy Training Path – 1 week

  • TAG Rocketlane Implementation Methodology Review – 2 days

  • Klient PSA Time Tracking – 1 day

  • Admin Teach Back (hands-on configuration demonstration) – 1 week
